Class DH1 - Draft Horse Ladies Show Cart
Entry Fee: $15.00 per entry, per class; limit two entries per exhibitor. Same horse may NOT be used in both Men's and Ladies classes.

4th - $50.00, 5th - $40.00, 6th - $30.00

Class DH2 - Draft Horse Men's Show Cart

Class DH4 - Draft Horse Unicorn
Entry Fee: $30.00 per entry, per class.
Premiums: 1st - $200.00, 2nd - $175.00, 3rd - $150.00, 4th - $125.00, 5th - $100.00, 6th - $85.00. Each entry thereafter receives $50.00 participation.

Class DH5 - Draft Horse 4 Up
Entry Fee: $30.00 per entry, per class.
Premiums: 1st - $400.00, 2nd - $325.00, 3rd - $265.00, 4th - $215.00, 5th - $170.00, 6th - $135.00. Each entry thereafter receives $50.00 participation.

Class DH6 - Draft Horse 6 Up - North American Six Horse Hitch Classic Series
Entry Fee: $60.00 per entry, per class.
Premiums: 1st - $1,250.00, 2nd - $1000.00,
3rd - $800.00, 4th - $650.00, 5th - $500.00,
6th - $375.00. Each entry thereafter receives $200.00 participation.

Class DH7 - Draft Horse 8 Up Hitch
Entry Fee: $50.00 per entry, per class.
Premiums: 1st - $800.00, 2nd - $650.00, 3rd - $500.00,
4th - $400.00, 5th - $300.00, 6th - $250.00. Each entry thereafter receives $200.00 participation.

Class DH8 - Draft Horse Under Saddle - English
Entry Fee: $10.00 per entry, per class. Rider will be
dressed in English riding attire, and shall work at a walk,
trot and canter.
Premiums: 1st - $60.00, 2nd - $50.00, 3rd - $40.00,
4th - $30.00, 5th - $20.00, 6th - $15.00.

Class DH9 - Draft Horse Under Saddle - Western
Entry Fee: $10.00 per entry, per class. Rider will be
dressed in Western riding attire, and shall work at a walk, trot and lope.
Premiums: 1st - $60.00, 2nd - $50.00, 3rd - $40.00,
4th - $30.00, 5th - $20.00, 6th - $15.00

Class M5 - Mule 4 Up
Entry Fee: $30.00 per entry, per class.

4th - $215.00, 5th - $170.00, 6th - $135.00. Each entry thereafter receives $50.00 participation.

Class M6 - Mule 6 Up
Entry Fee: $40.00 per entry, per class.
Premiums: 1st - $600.00, 2nd - $500.00, 3rd - $400.00, 4th - $300.00, 5th - $200.00, 6th - $150.00. Each entry thereafter receives $100.00 participation.

Class M7 - Mule 8 Up Hitch
Entry Fee - $50.00 per entry, per class.
Premiums: 1st - $800.00, 2nd - $650.00, 3rd - $500.00,
4th - $400.00, 5th - $300.00, 6th - $250.00. Each entry thereafter receives $200.00 participation.

Class M8 - Mule Under Saddle - English
Entry Fee - $10.00 per entry, per class.

COMBINED DRAFT HORSE AND MULE

Class C1 - Farm Team
Entry Fee: $20.00 per entry, per class. Combined of Draft Horses and Mules. Any two horse/mule entry. Farm type harness, (no scotch housings), animals may be shown barefoot. To be hooked to a suitable 4 wheeled wagon or
2 wheeled forecart, no farm implements.
Premiums: 1st - $100.00. 2nd - $80.00, 3rd - $65.00,
4th - $55.00, 5th - $35.00, 6th - $25.00

Class C2 - Youth Driver
Entry Fee: $20.00 per entry, per class. Combined of Draft Horses and Mules. Any two horse/mule entry. Drivers must be 10-14 years of age as of Jan. 1 of calendar year. Class
is judged on driving ability only. One adult (experienced) driver must accompany the Youth Driver.
Premiums: 1st - $100.00. 2nd - $80.00, 3rd - $65.00,
4th - $55.00, 5th - $35.00, 6th - $25.00. Each entry receives participation ribbon.

Class C3 - Jr. Driver
Entry Fee: $20.00 per entry, per class. Combined of Draft Horses and Mules. Drivers must be 15-18 years of age as of Jan. 1 of calendar year. Class is judged on driving ability only. One adult (experienced) driver must accompany the Jr. Driver.
Premiums: 1st - $100.00. 2nd - $80.00, 3rd - $65.00,
4th - $55.00, 5th - $35.00, 6th - $25.00. Each entry receives participation ribbon.

Class C4 - Amateur Team
Entry Fee: $20.00 per entry, per class. Combined of Draft Horses and Mules. Drivers must be 19-59 years of age as of Jan. 1 of calendar year. Class is judged on driving ability only. Amateur is defined as a driver who has never won at the Northwest Draft Horse Show, and does not drive in multiple hitch classes.
Premiums: 1st - $100.00. 2nd - $80.00, 3rd - $65.00,
4th - $55.00, 5th - $35.00, 6th - $25.00. Each entry receives participation ribbon.

Class C5 - Sr. Team
Entry Fee: $20.00 per entry, per class. Combined of Draft Horses and Mules. Drivers must be 60 years of age as of Jan. 1 of calendar year. Class is judged on driving ability only. Driver must not drive in multiple hitch classes.
Premiums: 1st - $100.00. 2nd - $80.00, 3rd - $65.00,
4th - $55.00, 5th - $35.00, 6th - $25.00. Each entry receives participation ribbon.

Class C6 - Obstacle Team
Entry Fee: $20.00 per entry, per class. Combined of Draft Horses and Mules. Any two horse/mule entry. Farm type harness, (no scotch housings), animals may be shown barefoot. To be hooked to a suitable 4 wheeled wagon.
No farm implements. Timed course, course will be posted and given to participants prior to class. Style and smoothness to be taken into account.
Premiums: 1st - $100.00. 2nd - $80.00, 3rd - $65.00,
4th - $55.00, 5th - $35.00, 6th - $25.00

Class C7 - Obstacle 4 Up Hitch
Entry Fee: $40.00 per entry, per class. Combined of Draft Horses and Mules. Any two horse/mule entry. Must be hitched to a 4 wheeled wagon. Timed course, course will
be posted and given to participants prior to class. Style
and smoothness to be taken into account.
Premiums: 1st - $200.00. 2nd - $175.00, 3rd - $135.00, 4th - $100.00, 5th - $85.00, 6th -$75.00

Class C8 - Four Abreast
Entry Fee: $30.00 per entry, per class. Combined of Draft Horses and Mules. Premiums: 1st - $200.00.
2nd - $125.00, 3rd - $135.00, 4th - $100.00,
5th - $85.00, 6th - $75.00

 
NORTHWEST CLASSIC COLLEGE CUP

Class NCC1 - Judging contest - Each member of each school team will judge at halter a class of four geldings and four mares. The placement in each category will be compared with the placement of our official show judge.
For each match in placement, 25 points will be awarded. The combined score for each school team will determine
the placement in the class. Points to apply to the cumulative score 1st -100, 2nd - 90, 3rd - 80, 4th -70, 5th - 60,
6th - 50. Each entry thereafter - 40 points.

Class NCC2 - Braiding - Each school team will be given ____ minutes to braid the two hitch horses used in the competition. The show judge will determine the placement in the competition. Points to apply to the cumulative score:
1st - 100, 2nd - 90, 3rd - 80, 4th - 70, 5th - 60, 6th - 50. Each entry thereafter - 40 points.

Class NCC3 - Halter Class - Each school team will show at halter the two hitch horses used in the competition. The horses will be judged solely on the showmanship of the handler and the combined scores will determine the placement in the class. The show judge will award the placement in the competition. Points to apply to the cumulative score: 1st - 100, 2nd - 90, 3rd - 80, 4th - 70, 5th - 60, 6th - 50. Each entry thereafter - 40 points.


Class NCC4 - Driving Competition, Long Course - Each school team will complete a timed driving course (driving pattern enclosed) which includes forward motion
at a walk and trot, backing to a dock, fanning left and right, a figure eight, and negotiating a coned obstacle course.
Each successfully completed portion of the test will be awarded 50 points. There will be no partial points awarded. The judge will determine the success of each maneuver and his decision will be final. A bonus of 50 points will be awarded the team with the rear wheel closest to pylon 8 (Item 7).
The team completing the course in the shortest time will be awarded 50 points. Placement for the competition will be determined by the highest score. A tie for first place will be awarded to the team with the shortest time. Points to apply to the cumulative score: 1st - 300, 2nd - 275, 3rd - 250,
4th - 225, 5th - 200, 6th - 175. Each entry thereafter 100 points.

Class NCC5 - Driving Competition, Short Course -
The class will enter the arena at a trot at the direction of the Ring Steward and will be judged on the rail at a walk and trot. Upon completion of the rail work each hitch will be asked to complete a short driving course. The driving pattern will be distributed to each competing school team thirty minutes prior to the class. Judged 75% on way of going, performance, driving ability, and 25% on condition, fit, appropriateness of attire and overall impression. A
bonus of 50 points will awarded to the hitch with the rear wheel of the wagon closest to pylon 3. Points to apply to
the cumulative score: 1st - 300, 2nd - 275, 3rd - 250,
4th - 225, 5th - 200, 6th - 175. Each entry thereafter 100 points.
